The Dixie Chicks' First Web Site

These pages are a mirror of the first-ever Dixie Chicks web page, as it existed on 10/5/1998.
In 1996, the Dixie Chicks inspired their fans at Austin-based Quadralay Corporation to create a web site for the group. See the Site History page for more details.

Music of the Dixie Chicks

Our first album, Thank Heavens for Dale Evans, had fourteen tracks, each with varying musical themes. At this time, The Dixie Chicks consisted of Robin Lynn Macy on guitar and vocals, Laura Lynch on bass and vocals, Martie Erwin on fiddle, viola, and vocals, and Emily Erwin on banjo and vocals. Dave Peters was the special guest playing the mandolin.
